On Saturday 11 June the Roma Bridging Sounds Youth Orchestra played at the Water City Festival of the Arts at the Tower of London.
In collaboration with the Romanian Cultural Centre, the Roma Support Group organised the exhibition Roma – from ‘Extra’ to ‘Ordinary’ from 19th June to 6th July 2014 at the Romanian Cultural Centre, Manchester Square, central London. Contrasting Romani history with the reality of everyday Romani life, the exhibition aimed to highlight both anti-Roma prejudice and the ordinariness of Roma people’s reality and activism, hoping to bring a new dimension to the debate surrounding the Roma from Eastern Europe. This flyer gives more details about the different events which took place during the exhibition.

On 10th December 2012 staff at Roma Support Group took part in a Show Racism the Red Card event at Dagenham & Redbridge FC. It is an annual event we always enjoy taking part in and is a great opportunity to teach local school children about Roma history and culture.
The Show Racism the Red Card website gives more information about the event.
